Forward Forward

This March edition of our monthly e-newsletter is hitting your inboxes a smidge late — thank you for your flexibility.  I am hopeful you will understand that the reason for our tardiness is that March was an amazingly full and wonderful month for AIA Peconic.  Big thank you to Joel Lipsky and the Bridgehampton Museum for our program on Design Approaches to Historical Restoration Projects and to James Merrell for inviting us to support and provide continuing education credit for his presentation with the Sag Harbor Historical Museum.  A major highlight for me, personally, was the third annual Women in Architecture film screening in partnership with the Southampton Arts Center.

Thank you to everyone who made our film screening and panel discussion celebrating Women’s History Month such a success! Thank you to The AIA Peconic Women in Architecture Committee for selecting “City Dreamers” and bringing together the amazing panel for our insightful debrief. We are grateful to our partner Southampton Arts Center for collaborating with us on what has become an annual tradition. And to the 90+ audience members who contributed to the vibrancy of the evening: thank you! We can’t wait to see you soon. To our panel of distinguished professionals, you made the night! Thank you so much for sharing your time and wisdom.

  • Moderator Julie Hatfield, President of Wright & Company Construction

  • Andrea Lamberti, Principal at Andrea Lamberti Architect

  • Lindsay Kuntz, Principal, Director of New York office, Olson Kundig

  • June Williamson, Professor, Director of Graduate Architecture at CCNY
