Designed for small firms and independent practitioners, but open all, this course offers an overview of legal matters of interest to architects.  

Annalee J. Cataldo, Esq. of Kosakoff & Cataldo, LLP  will present a seminar entitled “Considerations and Tips on Contracts and the Practice of Architecture.”  This seminar offers an overview of legal issues impacting the practice of architecture in the State of New York especially for small firms and independent practitioners including the negotiating  and drafting a contract, key contract considerations as well as a spotlight on certain provisions of the New York State Education Law as it applies to architects.

Meet the Presenter: Annalee J. Cataldo

Annalee J. Cataldo, Senior Partner, is a 1989 graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Cataldo joined a well-respected New York City insurance litigation defense firm where she gained invaluable experience as a litigator.  For over 25 years, Ms. Cataldo has concentrated her practice on the representation of design professionals including architects, engineers, and land surveyors. Ms. Cataldo is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.

Ms. Cataldo is frequently requested to present seminars to design professionals on topics related to their practice.  She formerly served as General Counsel to the New York Society of Architects, is an affiliate member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (“ACEC”) and serves as a member of ACEC’s Legal Counsel Forum.
