A New Season For Contemporary Art

On Exhibit thru May 29th 

Alex Ferrone Gallery opened their annual Spring Group Exhibition this past weekend featuring art by local, national, and international contemporary artists. The Gallery invites the public to their Artists’ Reception this coming Saturday, May 13 from 5-7pm where guests can enjoy the exhibition and celebrate with bubbly and light bites. The Spring Exhibition runs through May 29, 2023.

Celebrating their eleventh spring season, the Gallery is presenting a beautiful selection of art that includes photography, painting, mixed media works, and sculpture by eighteen contemporary artists.

The Spring Exhibition lineup boasts local North Fork and Shelter Island artists Bennett Sykes Blackburn, Wendy Prellwitz, Katherine Liepe-Levinson, Lucy Dewitt, and Janet Culbertson, as well as Hamptons’ artists Carolyn Conrad, Roy Nicholson, and Dan Welden. The roster continues with Long Island artists Chris Ann Ambery, Kathleen Massi, Winn Rea, Pamela Waldroup, and Constance Sloggatt Wolf; stretches out nationally with Leslie Gleim from Hawaii, David McCrae from Washington, Ron Pokrasso from New Mexico, and Marjorie Tomchuk from Connecticut; and completes the exhibition with Canadian artist Jennifer Pazienza.
