WHERE IS THE HUMAN?
What does it mean to be human? There are so many perspectives for judging, but one thing is clear: Since the beginning of mortal time, Homo Sapiens have created art as a means of expressing what humanity, for better or for worse, is capable of.
Where Is the Human? is a national open juried exhibition inviting artists to consider the question of our humanity through the lens of our own time, as we evolve culturally, technologically, and spiritually.
This national open call welcomes all mediums of visual art, including sculpture and installation. Works can be figurative, abstract, and/or conceptual interpretations of the theme.
Artists can enter up to three [3] submissions of work. Works must be the artist’s original design and concept, fit within the theme, and not previously shown at East End Arts.
Entries must be submitted digitally by September 12, 2023.
Exhibition runs November 3 – December 17, 2023.
Cash prizes up to $1000!
