Kicking Off the Summer at the Galleries

OPENING RECEPTION: SATURDAY, JUNE 7 • 4PM-7PM

Take a DETOUR to the nexus of the two forks to East End Arts Council’s annual summer art exhibition curated by Glen Hansen and running across two galleries in the Arts District of Downtown Riverhead.

Each year DETOUR showcases a variety of artists and their divergent mediums, techniques, and voices. The curation strives to bring a museum-quality cohesion of work into a premier gallery format, and the exhibition is filled with gallery programming, including artist panels and curator-led tours, throughout its run. Join Us For the 23rd Annual Teeny Awards

Since 2002, the East End Arts Council’s Teeny Awards has celebrated excellence in theater in East End Long Island area high schools. This year’s awards ceremony is hosted by Gianna Volpe at Greenport High School. This program is made possible in part by M&T Bank and Suffolk County Legislator Catherine Stark.
