This special 2 hour hands-on session will show beginner electric guitarists how to set up a home studio and record their playing as they progress. This clinic provides practical guidance, hands-on practice, and tips for setting up, capturing and improving guitar recordings.

NEW! Lyric Writing Workshop

This is a 2-hour workshop that teaches young songwriters techniques the pros use. Rhyme schemes, form, poetic styles, wordplay and more will be explored. Students will have their work evaluated or create new work of their own. Perry Bancs is a Berklee College of Music alum, and his credits span from Kid Cudi, The Backstreet Boys, The Chainsmokers, and Benny the Butcher.

in Honor of Linda Rie Cohen

Each year, one talented, hard working 16-20 year old visionary in art, music, and/or science is selected by committee for the unrestricted $10,000 Linda Rie Cohen Rising Star Merit Award. This award, provided in memory of Linda by her husband, is meant to positively impact the trajectory of a young person’s path and can be used for anything they desire. Past winners include Franklin Mastroangelo, Annika Griffing, and Keira Bree. Application deadline: May 1, 2026
