This two-artist exhibition pairs the strikingly different practices of Bill Albertini and Ellen Wiener, united by a shared fascination with the natural world, myth, and the passage of time. On view at the Andy Tarshis Fine Art Gallery September 12 – October 10.

Teen Music Performance Program
As seen at the Soirée – Bandspace is EEAC’s 360° music and artist-development program, open to musicians ages 13–19. In this group, teens form bands, develop their sound and identity, perform live, write and record original music, and gain hands-on experience creating and selling merchandise as they grow into the artists they want to be. Semester starts 9/14.

Call to Printmakers
This national juried exhibition celebrates the enduring tradition and ongoing evolution of contemporary printmaking, bringing together artists working across the printmaking medium. Jurors Ellen Wiener and Bill Albertini, with curator Mich Miller, aim to highlight artists who demonstrate a strong commitment to the craft, embrace innovation, and expand the expressive possibilities of printmaking.

New Weekly Class – Mindful Energy Figure Drawing
Discover a mindful approach to figure drawing that brings together artistic practice and intentional focus. Machi Tantillo gives artists an opportunity to become grounded and present before putting pencil to paper, creating a thoughtful environment for observation, expression, and creativity. Every Sunday starting 9/13. Classes are 90 minutes.

The Call to Artists is open for EEAC’s first large scale print event. We’ve teamed up with the Riverhead Highway Department to bring this inaugural festival to our School on November 7.

New Weekly Class – Teen Fine Art
10-15 year olds can explore drawing, painting, and mixed media while building creative skills and confidence. Keira Bree teaches students different techniques, how to develop their own ideas, and to create original artwork in a studio environment every Saturday morning.
