84th ARTIST MEMBERS EXHIBITION & 2019 AME WINNER MARY BOOCHEVER

Started in 1938, this open-call, non-juried exhibition includes current Guild Hall members at all levels of artistic practice. The popular, democratic exhibit typically yields over 300 entries. A long tradition that is deeply rooted in the history of the East End’s artist colony, early participants included Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Alfonso Ossorio, James Brooks, Charlotte Park, and many more.

Simultaneously, works by artist Mary Boochever will be on view. Mary was chosen by MoMA PS1 Associate Curator Jocelyn Miller as the winner of the 2019 81st Artist Members Exhibition. Deeply rooted in research and investigations of color systems, Boochever creates color experiences for the viewer through her paintings, sculptures, and installations.

Members who would like to participate in this exhibition must register by September 15, 2023. Please note there is limited capacity, and registration will close once capacity has been reached, which may be before September 15. Questions can be directed to ame@guildhall.org.
