Southold Historical Museum is pleased to offer the Bainbridge Internship Program and Gardiner Young Scholar program for 2023.
—————
Internship is a terrific opportunity for a local student to gain a hands-on understanding of the many operations that help Southold Historical Museum preserve and share Southold’s history for our community and future generations.
         —————
The internships requires the completion of 100 hours of service to the museum and is accompanied by a $1,500 stipend. The positions are open to High School Students entering grade 10 and up, residing in Southold Town.
—————
Please note: We will be choosing two interns this summer. One for the Bainbridge Internship and the other for the Gardiner Young Scholar program, funded through a grant from the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation. The application below is provided for both opportunities.
—————
Applications should be submitted to the museum no later than June 9, 2023. A decision will be made soon after that date on who will be awarded the position. The associated hours must be completed between July 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.
