LOOKING AHEAD: 2026 INAUGURAL EXHIBITIONS

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
JANUARY 25 THROUGH APRIL 19, 2026
Jason Bard Yarmosky: Time Has Many Faces
“Since childhood I have been fascinated by time and aging. Every child is eager to grow up, but my grandparents taught me if we’re lucky we grow old,” shared Jason Bard Yarmosky. “Drawing and painting has given me a unique opportunity to explore the time I have through experiencing the people around me. The contrast between society’s emphasis on celebrating youth and my personal connection to aging influenced my artistic practice. Additionally, in a time heavily influenced by technology I find myself drawn more towards the role portrait painting has played throughout history. There is something intimate about painting someone, as the portrait becomes both a reflection of the subject and myself in that moment.”
Liberty Labs: A Decade of Design
“I often think about how lucky we are to have such a creative community and environment, but then I remember all the work that went in to build this and realize it was ambition, not luck, that built this collective,” said Evan Yee of Liberty Labs Foundation. “Despite our varied backgrounds, we all share a dedication to our practiced craft and a bold willingness to try new things. But what holds our collective together is not the work. It’s the meals we cook over the fireplace, the games of darts, our sailing team, and, of course, our parties. We stay at work late because we like to be here. And over these ten years, I’ve seen many of my best friends here find love beyond their practice and build families, me included. While we’ve had 33 dedicated members of Liberty labs, we really have a much larger family; the spouses, the kids, our friends, the neighboring shops, studios and designers, the shop dogs and cats, and the regular clients we now call friends. This show is dedicated to that family.”
QUOTE OF THE MONTH
So build yourself as beautiful as you want your world to be. Wrap yourself in light then give yourself away with your heart, your brush, your march, your art, your poetry, your play. And for every day you paint the war, take a week and paint the beauty, the color, the shape of the landscape you’re marching towards. Everyone knows what you’re against; show them what you’re for.
