SWEPT AWAY: Love Letter to a Surrogate(s) will have its East Coast finale this Sunday as the final 18 artists hit the beach. 65 artists living in on the East End and 65 West Coast artists have been participating in this community-based art happening, creating ephemeral performative gestures or time-based works at the water’s edge.

Swept Away is co-curated by Christina Mossaides Strassfield, Anuradha Vikram, and Renee Petropoulos, with administrative coordination by Julie McKim.
