The 2025–2026 season includes:
-
The Thanksgiving Play (October 16 – November 2, 2025)
A razor-sharp contemporary comedy by Larissa FastHorse. Four well-meaning but hilariously misguided collaborators attempt to devise a culturally sensitive Thanksgiving play for schoolchildren—with riotous results. Directed by Mary Powers, this smart satire launches HTC’s new Jane Stanton “Celebrating Women in Theatre” series, spotlighting women playwrights and directors.
-
I Do! I Do! (March 12 – March 29, 2026)
From the creators of “The Fantasticks,” this two-character Tony Award–winning musical captures fifty years of marriage through laughter, heartbreak, and song. With its timeless score, including the hit “My Cup Runneth Over,” this touching love story will be directed by longtime HTC veteran Rosemary Cline.
-
The 39 Steps (May 21 – June 7, 2026)
A madcap comedy inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller, with four actors playing dozens of roles in a whirlwind of quick changes, slapstick, and suspense. Winner of two Tony Awards and the Olivier Award for Best Comedy, this tour-de-farce is a guaranteed season finale highlight.

Season subscriptions to all three principal productions are just $110, entitling subscribers to priority seating and savings over single-ticket prices. Patrons who purchase subscriptions now have the convenience of choosing performance dates and seats later.

As last year, the company will also present a holiday treat for patrons that is not included in the subscription: “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play” for three performances on December 12, 13 and 14, 2025.
Joe Landry’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’s beloved tale brings audiences into a 1940s radio studio, where a versatile cast performs multiple roles with vintage microphones, live sound effects, and musical interludes. A festive, family-friendly experience directed by Andrew Botsford—complete with a carol singalong and complimentary holiday treats.
Tickets for “A Christmas Carol” are also available now, by visiting www.hamptontheatre.org or calling the HTC box office at 631-653-8955.
