Creative Community Huddles are monthly, virtual gatherings hosted by Long Island Arts Alliance for arts and culture leaders, creatives, educators, and advocates across Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

JUNE TOPIC:

Demystifying NYSCA Funding

This month’s Huddle will focus on navigating the newly released FY 2026 NYSCA grant guidelines and application process.

We’ll kick things off with a brief intro and overview from Megan White, NYSCA’s Deputy Director of Programs, who will walk us through what’s new in FY2026 and share updates on available funding opportunities.

From there, we’ll open the conversation to share questions, tips, and strategies for tackling the common pain points—prequalification, crafting strong narratives, developing project budgets, fiscal sponsorships, and more.
