Topic: Arts Advocacy in Action: Making Our Case For Budget Season

As budget season begins, it’s time to organize, align, and raise our collective voice. In this Huddle, we’ll chat about advocacy strategies, action items, and LIAA’s policy goals for 2026 – and, most importantly, what your communities are facing so we can lift up a shared agenda and a unified voice for Long Island’s creative sector.

NEW PROGRAM:

Long Island Spark Exchange

——————

LI Spark Exchange is a fast-paced virtual presentation series from Long Island Arts Alliance that showcases effective programs, partnerships, and initiatives shaping our region’s arts and culture landscape.

Using the dynamic 20×20 format — 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each — each six-minute presentation spotlights a real story from the field. The result is a concise, visual exchange of knowledge that builds awareness, strengthens collaboration, and elevates the work of Long Island’s arts and culture organizations.

From arts education and festivals to capital projects, public art, and cross-sector initiatives, Spark Exchange highlights what’s working on Long Island and how it’s being done, helping others learn, adapt, and connect. The series strengthens the creative ecosystem by doing what LIAA does best: connecting and convening the region’s arts, culture, and community leaders through shared learning and visibility. More…

CORPORATE PARTNERS:

When the Arts Thrive, Business Thrives

——————

LIAA’s Corporate Partner Program connects companies that believe creativity is essential to Long Island’s economic and cultural vitality.

If you’ve been looking for meaningful ways to support the arts through your business, this is it. Regional sponsorships and corporate partnerships make it possible for LIAA to conduct essential research, advocate for funding equity, and provide the tools, data, and visibility that no single organization could create alone.

Partners gain recognition through events, research reports, and communications, along with an official Arts Advocate badge to display proudly in storefronts, marketing, and online.

Show your support of the arts through your business.
