The Sag Harbor Masonic Music Club is excited to have the all woman band Spitnkitn play in the Inner Sanctum of the Masonic Temple. This exciting rocking show will be Saturday, April 1, 8pm. These woman are sure to shake the timbers of this old building. Admission is $20.00. Below is how the band describes themselves.
Spitnkitn – the least-productive, really good band you’ve never heard of
A photographer, a painter, and jeweler, each mothers of 2, thriving on in-your-face, caffeine-fueled, soul-renewing, bourbon swilling musical creativity. Our weekly rocking out to loud music is what keeps us going, even when we miss a few weeks. We play a lot of PJ Harvey plus the Stooges, X, Breeders, Pixies, Hole and Justin Bieber (yes, we do a pretty menacing cover of “Boyfriend”). We’re older, we’re wiser…we’re spitnkitn

The Masonic Music Series is a singer songwriter series featuring the best of the East Ends musical performers in an intimate setting. Performance are in the unique inner sanctum of the Masonic Temple. The $20.00 admission supports gifts to local charities such as scholarships to Pierson graduates, food pantries, Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, and other locals in need. The music series is produced by The Sag Harbor Masonic Club and the Freemason Brothers of Wamponamon Lodge. The Masonic Temple is located at 200 Main Street, Sag Harbor above The Sag Harbor Whaling Museum with plenty of parking in the rear of the building.
