SPRING IS ON THE HORIZON

NEW MONTAUK TESTING SITE & ONLINE VACCINE HUB
The Town of East Hampton is once again offering Covid-19 testing in Montauk at a new site next to the soccer field on South Erie Street. For appointment and payment information, click here. The Town has also launched a new online Vaccine Hub offering pre-registration for appointments, in connection to the new vaccination clinic located in Wainscott. Click here for more information.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
For the second year, Concerned Citizens of Montauk (CCOM) is offering the Peter Lowenstein Memorial Scholarship to a local Montauk student pursuing the study of science. EHHS students seeking to apply should contact their guidance office; others should contact CCOM directly for more information: (631) 238-5720.

COMMUNITY SPIRIT SPOTLIGHT:
BROWNIE TROOP THANKS MONTAUK’S ESSENTIAL WORKERS
Montauk’s Brownie Troop 825 raised funds from their friends, neighbors and the community to purchase more than 500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies for Montauk’s essential workers. The cookies were delivered to teachers, the police, ambulance and fire department, the pharmacy, medical building and workers at the IGA. Remaining boxes will be delivered to workers at the Town’s vaccination site and the Hospital. Way to go, girls!

AQUATICS & CULTURAL ARTS
CALL FOR LIFEGUARDS | The Town of East Hampton has positions open for certified ocean and bay lifeguards for the upcoming summer season. Other summer jobs are also available, including recreation aid positions at the Montauk Skate Park. For more information, email: HumanResources@EHamptonNY.Gov
STUDENT ART EXHIBITION AT THE PARRISH | The Parrish Art Museum’s annual student exhibition is now on view, through April 18. The show features artwork from more than 1,000 participating East End students. To learn more and to register to visit, click here.

THE LIGHTHOUSE
The Lighthouse museum and gift shop are open again to visitors on the weekends, from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm. Can’t make it in person? Do a virtual visit! The Lighthouse website has an interactive virtual museum tour and live webcams, click here.
