JANUARY HIKES IN MONTAUK

The East Hampton Trails Preservation Society will host two Montauk hikes in January: a 4-mile Camp Hero hike on Sat., Jan. 21 at 10am and a 2-mile Seal Haul Out Trail hike on Sat. Jan. 28 at 9am. For more info, visit their website

FRIDAY FUN

FOR KIDS AT THE LIBRARY

Have cabin fever with the little ones? The Montauk Library hosts “Stay & Play,” a free playtime program focusing on parent/child interaction, play and exploration, on Fridays from 10:30 – 11:15am for newborns to 5-years. Sign up at the Children’s desk or call (631) 668-3377. Kids 6 and up can participate in Lego Club, Fridays from 3:30 – 4:30pm and at 5pm on Fridays, the Library presents a classic Disney Film Series. MONTAUK PTA’S PASTA DINNER

The Montauk PTA’s Pasta Dinner in support of student scholarships returns Sat. Jan. 28 from 5 – 8pm at the Firehouse. Highlights include raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Adults are $25, children are $15, children 5 and under are free. (Tickets are available at the door.)

FIRESIDE SESSIONS WITH NANCY ATLAS & FRIENDS

On Saturdays through the end of January, the popular “Fireside Sessions with Nancy Atlas and Friends” return to Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theater. To view the schedule and purchase tickets, click here.

NPC’S “JANUARY GIRLS” WORKSHOPS

The Neo-Political Cowgirls’ “January Girls” series of free workshops focused on art and friendship, for girls of all ages, are presented on Sundays from 2 – 4pm at various East End locations. IN-PERSON TESTING | Free PCR tests for COVID as well as a combined Flu/Covid rapid test are now available at the East Hampton Town’s testing site at 110 Stephen Hand’s Path in Wainscott on Wednesdays, from 10am – 5pm. Click here for more info.
