SEPTEMBER FARMERS MARKET UPDATE
The Farmers Market on the Green will be held this week on Thursday, September 8th from 9am – 2pm, then will switch over to Fridays for the remainder of September.

The last market will take place during Fall Festival Weekend (October 8-9).

SURF LODGE FUNDRAISER

WITH THE NANCY ATLAS PROJECT: SEPTEMBER 10

The Nancy Atlas Project will headline a fundraiser at the Surf Lodge on Saturday, September 10th to raise funds for the Montauk Food Pantry as well as the new Montauk Skate Park. Stay tuned for additional details, to be announced soon!

SEAFOOD FESTIVAL RETURNS: SEPTEMBER 10 & 11

The Montauk Friends of Erin and the Kiwanis Club of East Hampton present the 8th Annual Montauk Seafood Festival on the village green, Sept. 10-11, from 12-5pm. Local vendors will serve delicious fare, beer, and wine, and there will be live music. $5/kids free.

MONTAUK ARTIST SALLY RICHARDSON’S NEW EXHIBIT
AT DUCK CREEK ARTS CENTER
Montauk artist Sally Richardson will exhibit her sculpture at the Duck Creek Arts Center in East Hampton. The opening reception is Saturday, September 10th from 4-6pm and the show will be on display through October 16. More info.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS AT THE MONTAUK LIBRARY:

SEPTEMBER 15

The Empire Safety Council will present an accident prevention defensive driving workshop class at the Montauk Library on September 15 from 10:30am-4:30pm ($40). For more info on this and other upcoming events at the Library, click here.

CRAFT FAIR WEEKEND: SEPTEMBER 17 & 18
The craft fair on the grounds of Second House returns the weekend of September 17-18. Look for creative vendors showcasing artwork, crafts, food, clothing, and home and garden wares. More info.

MFD’S BIG BUCKS BONANZA: SEPTEMBER 18
The Montauk Fire Department’s annual Big Bucks Bonanza ticket drawing will be held on Sunday, September 18th at 2pm (gates open at 1pm). The winning numbers will also be posted on the MFD website and on their voicemail message: (631) 668-3755.

MIGHTYMAN MONTAUK TRIATHLON: OCTOBER 2

Save the date for the Mightyman Montauk Triathlon, coming up on Sunday, October 2 from 6:30am – 12pm. The race offers three distances for participants of all levels. More info.
