May Book in the Woods

The Curious Garden by Peter Brown

Come for a self-guided, half-mile walk and read a story as you go. While out exploring, Liam discovers a hidden garden and decides to take care of it. Will he be able to transform a gray city into a green world? A perfect family nature adventure and a great way to get your kids out into the woods.

Our regular column in the Shelter Island Reporterhighlights local wildlife and conservation. Be sure to view the latest column to learn about Bluebird conservation at Mashomack and be on the lookout for our upcoming May column to learn about tick safety as we head into the warmer months.
