Coming Up this Week at Mashomack
Have you always wanted to stay in a 19th Century mansion in the woods?
Here’s your chance! Join us for the Bird Watch Breakfast and stay overnight in Mashomack’s Manor House, wake up and head out for some early morning birdwatching with world-renown birding experts and come back to the house for a warm, delicious breakfast buffet. Saturday night accommodations are $135/person for room, walk and breakfast. $35 Breakfast only.
Suffolk County Aquaculture Lease Program (SCALP) is ten years old and looking for feedback from local Shelter Island residents to help inform changes or modifications to the program going forward. If you’re interested in aquaculture and how you might get involved, come up to Mashomack’s Manor House on Monday, May 20th at 4:00PM for this presentation.
Mashomack’s Open House and Haul Seine is Sunday, May 26th, 4 to 7PM.
We’ll celebrate summer on the Manor House lawn with a lawn party and then take part is an East End traditional Haul Seine on the beach. This is a free event.
Mashomack’s Environmental Education Program – Three sessions:
July 8-11, August 5-8, and August 19-22 still has a few spaces left!
This popular summer program increases awareness of the natural world while having fun.
$250 per child. Scholarships are available.
