Local Celebrities “Guest Star” at the North Fork Community Theatre

To  celebrate the re-opening of the North Fork Community Theatre (NFCT), we have invited seven local celebrities to be a “Guest Star” in The Drowsy Chaperone which opens May 16th and plays through June 2nd. Each celebrity will be performing the role of the “Superintendent” on one night only! Come see them make their debut on the NFCT stage!

5/23 – David Perrin – President of the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce
5/24 – Andy Mitchell – CEO of Peconic Bay Medical Center
5/25 – Bill Evans – Fifteen-time Emmy Award Winner, Meterologist, Program Director for 92.1 WLNG
5/26 – Brady Rymer – Three-time Grammy Award nominee singer and musician
5/30 – Jill Schroeder – JABS Fitness Studio

An opening night reception will be held at 7pm on Thursday May 16th.

Student Rush: Student tickets will be available for $20 at the box office beginning 10 minutes before each performance. These tickets are subject to availability and cannot be reserved ahead of time.

Meet the Cast: Guest Star Edition

Andy Mitchell
Since taking on the leadership post as Peconic Bay Medical Center’s (PBMC) President and CEO in May of 2001, Andrew J. Mitchell, FACHE has been a driving force in bringing advanced healthcare services to the East End of Long Island. Before assuming his post at Peconic Bay Medical Center, Mr. Mitchell served as Executive Director of North Shore University Hospital at Forest Hills. He is a graduate of Yale University, where he earned his MPH in Health Services Administration and attended Union College, where he received a BA in Sociology. Andy enjoys photography, hockey and can often be seen boating the Peconic Bay.

Jill Schroeder
Jill Schroeder is the owner of JABS Fitness Studio in Cutchogue. She holds a BS in Biology & Psychology and was recognized as The Suffolk Times Business Person of the Year 2012, The East End Women’s Network Woman of the Year 2014, and Dan’s Papers Best Personal Trainer 2010-2018. While she commands a presence in the community, The Drowsy Chaperone marks her official stage debut! She would like to thank her agent Marissa, the JABS crew, and her family for supporting her! Jeff Strong
Jeff Strong is the President of Strong’s Marine, Long Island’s premier resource for boat and yacht sales, super service and impeccable marinas. Strong’s Marine, a family business now in its fourth generation with Jeff’s son, Ryan, was founded in 1945 and has seven locations across Long Island including three here in Mattituck. Jeff, a resident of Mattituck, enjoys golfing and boating in his free time with his wife, Re, and their three grandchildren. This is Jeff’s debut on the NFCT stage!
