October 16 – Graveyard Tours

October 26 – Volunteer Cleanup/Organize Day

November 4 – Volunteer Info Night

Dear NFCT Friends,

As we start another season I want to focus on the ways you can get involved at the NFCT. There are so many ways to participate and most do not include performing on stage. The most common, low commitment way to volunteer is to usher at a show. It gives you the opportunity to sign up for just one show, and meet some new people. There are many other ways as well. We have volunteer clean up days where we tackle projects inside and outside of the building. Volunteering as stage crew can give you the experience of getting involved with the whole cast and show experience without having to perform. There are also ways to get involved that don’t require you to leave your home. We maintain contact databases, update our website, post on social media, call members & donors and many of these things can be done from the comfort of your home.

We have a volunteer info night to learn more about the ways you can get involved coming up on November 4th at 7:00 PM. Please consider attending, even if you have volunteered before to learn about other ways you can get involved. We will spend some time focused on tech volunteers for the lights, sound and video wall so come see that demonstration and pass the word to anyone who might be more interested in theatre tech. In the meantime, you can send any questions you have about volunteering to me at president@nfct.com.

I hope to see you soon.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Outside Mullingar which plays Friday and Saturday at 8PM and Sunday at 2:30PM October 1-17. If you have not purchased your tickets yet, get them now at www.nfct.com.
