Join us for the opening reception of At Home with Rosalyn Drexler this Saturday, May 31st, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center.

Rosalyn Drexler is a painter, sculptor, novelist, playwright, and former professional wrestler regarded as one of the key figures in the American Pop Art movement of the 1960s. This exhibition, co-curated by Dr. Rachel Silverbloom (‘Political Bodies: Writings on Adriana Cavarero’s Political Thought’), explores Drexler’s depictions of domestic spaces throughout her career. Fraught with tension, these paintings question if home is indeed a place to escape to or escape from.
