Celebrate Jackson Pollock’s birthday (which is January 28) with a tour of the Pollock-Krasner home and studio with Joyce Raimondo, and a presentation about Pollock’s life and work. Following, special guests who knew Pollock share their first hand recollections.

Art Access: MoMA Programs

for People who are Blind or Have Low Vision

Friday, January 30, 4:00 – 5:00 pm (EST)

What would it be like to touch the sculptures in The Museum of Modern Art’s famed collection? How can visitors with vision loss experience MoMA’s paintings by Vincent van Gogh, Jackson Pollock, and others? Guest speakers Francesca Rosenberg, Director of Access Programs and Initiatives, and Annie Leist, Associate Educator in Access Programs and Initiatives, both from The Museum of Modern Art’s Learning and Engagement Department, will inform audiences who are blind or have low vision of the many available resources and share program methodologies with museum educators and other professionals to make art available for all.
