The Parrish Art Museum and Hedley Studios invite visitors to the Museum’s outdoor areas to experience the creativity, design and precision engineering from Hedley Studios. On view from July 3 through August 23, Hedley Studios brings its acclaimed classic car recreations to the Museum’s grounds as part of the Museum’s summer offering.

At the intersection of fine art and automotive excellence, Hedley Studios transcends traditional boundaries to craft limited-edition pieces that are both fully functional and rare collectables. Merging tradition with technical innovation and sculptural design, each Hedley Studios creation is a fully electric, drivable artwork produced at 66–85% scale. The studio is the only one in the world officially licensed by Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, and Ferrari to reinterpret their most legendary examples of automotive history. Parrish Museum visitors will have the rare opportunity to view three limited-edition Hedley’s up close throughout the season. The Bugatti Baby II, The Aston Martin DB5 J and The Ferrari Testa Rossa J will be showcased at the Parrish through August 23.

HEDLEY STUDIOS PIECES ON VIEW AT THE PARRISH INCLUDE:

  • ●  The Bugatti Baby II is the recreation that first launched Hedley Studios in 2019. This is a 75% scale electric reincarnation of the renowned Bugatti Type 35, developed using a full 3D scan of an original 1924 French Grand Prix car. Authentic period features include a mahogany Nardi steering wheel and leather bonnet straps. Design elements from modern Bugatti creations have also been cleverly considered, including a turned aluminium dashboard, and a ‘Speed Key’, inspired by the Bugatti Chiron. There are both “Pur Sang” hand formed aluminium and “Vitesse” carbon fibre limited editions. Each one is numbered, signed and adorned with both a Bugatti chassis plate and a signature solid silver Bugatti macaron.

  • ●  The Aston Martin DB5 J is a 66% scale electric reimagining of its legendary namesake, commemorating the 1963 cabriolet of James Bond fame. It features the instantly recognizable Aston Martin ‘wings’ and Smiths instruments. The special “No Time to Die” edition celebrating the 25th James Bond film is a gadget-laden collector’s item with controls in a hidden switch panel. The gadgets include simulated gatling guns that emerge from the headlights, skid mode for quick getaways, a unique customizable digital license plate that plays James Bond theme music, and a smoke screen emitted from the rear exhaust. The “No Time to Die” version is a limited edition of only 125 pieces.
