Almond Zigmund: Gridded Commune

The inaugural Museum Café mural, created by Parrish Collection artist Almond Zigmund, is a celebration of social space and community-building. Dynamic patterns come together in Gridded Commune (2023) to create a spatial field of vibrant color block figures set against a grey grid, echoing the Museum’s architecture.Affirming the theme of community, our Café partner Elegant Affairs will emphasize locally sourced products and goods, promoting the creativity of the food industry business of the region and supporting the bounty of produce grown on Long Island.

There is no admission fee to visit the Café, and Museum members always receive a 10% discount.
