TALK | Justin Beal: Sandfuture

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 6 PM | ON-SITE & LIVESTREAMED
——————–
Justin Beal discusses Sandfuture (MIT Press, September 2021)—his forthcoming book about the life of World Trade Center architect Minoru Yamasaki who remains on the margins of history despite his enormous influence on American architecture and society. The book also presents Beal’s reflections on the architect’s role, the contemporary art market, and the social and political implications of how, and for whom, cities are built.
