Our vital education programs kicked back into full swing this year. We reconnected with children and teachers from 31 regional schools; hosted over 500 tours, workshops, camp sessions, performances, and classes; and collaborated with twelve community organizations including Southampton Youth Association, Bridgehampton Childcare and Recreation Center, East End Disability Associates, New Hour for Women and Children-LI, and the Center for Parkinson’s Disease at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, among others.

We’re tremendously proud that our efforts make a lasting impact for so many people. We are heartened by friends, members, and educators who echo our sentiments:

“I have experienced the Parrish Art Museum through the lens of a teacher as well as a parent. The Museum facilitates a social space for children to explore art, stir emotion and curiosity, and express themselves. It is a creative think-space for our community to gather and be inspired. I am so grateful for the Parrish. I could not imagine our community without it.”

“I experience the Parrish Art Museum as an ongoing community collaboration and I’m proud to be part of it as both a collection artist and a “creative studio” presenter. As a community, we are stronger through inclusiveness and the Museum engenders pride with consistent sensitivity and respect.”
