Our Connections theme is “40 for 40” with a focus on bringing you to 40 places whose conservation has had an impact – whether it be our very first, our largest, the one that had the biggest impact on a community, or the most delicate natural community, each one has a story.

Stop & Shop Community Bag Program

Month of January

Stop & Shop, 167 Main Street, Southampton
For the entire month of January, when you purchase a $2.50 reusable Community Bag at the Southampton Stop & Shop, $1 is donated to the Peconic Land Trust.

The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. The Trust is honored to be selected as the January beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Southampton Stop & Shop.
