This year, the Peconic Land Trust celebrates 40 years of conserving Long Island’s working farms, natural lands, and cultural resources. We work to make sure that the places we all know and love will be here for generations to come.

It is only through the support of this community that together we have been able to create

a conservation legacy that will endure forever.

Supporters of our mission have made it possible for us to protect nearly 14,000 acres of farmland, woodlands, meadows, and shorelines working with many partners. They’ve helped make sure we all have clean drinking water, fresh locally grown food, and habitat for flora and fauna. Imagine what your community, your sense of place, and your joy for where you live would be like without protected and undeveloped land.
