The Stewardship Center on Main Road can use some love! Help us rake out, trim and install native plants in our landscape, remove roadside debris, and organize the barn as we get ready for the season.

4-6 people will make a difference, can you help us? Reservation requested to ensure ample supplies will be available, email Kathy today.

Please arrive by 10:00 a.m. with your water bottle and work gloves. All other supplies, including pizza lunch, will be provided.

Cleanup Competition: Dune Road – East End

Join us on Sunday, June 25th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a clean up competition hosted at Oakland’s Marina by Relic. Those looking to compete must check-in at Oakland’s Marina parking lot, and all trash must be weighed in by 12 p.m. Relic will be providing information on locations in need of cleaning at the check in. Prizes will be given to the top individual and top team of up to 4 people.

The dumpster for the event has been kindly provided by Eastern Environmental Solutions, so let’s work together to fill it with a few thousand pounds of trash taken off our beaches.

Program in partnership with Surfrider Foundation, Peconic Baykeeper, Hampton Bays Public Library, the Moriches Bay Project, and the Shinnecock Bay Restoration Foundation.

Get an inside look at this well-known family farm operation. Meet Jen Pike at their greenhouse to transplant basil to take home and visit their bumblebee hive to learn the importance of pollinators to the farm. Next, drive to their farmstand on Sagg Main to meet Jim Pike and learn the conservation story of their farmland and its impact on the community. Complete your visit with a walking tour of the fields where you may find strawberries to enjoy fresh from the plant! Program suitable for ages 15+, closed-toed shoes recommended.

Join us this summer for our Members-Only Music Nights at Bridge Gardens! Starting at 6 p.m. until dusk, you’ll enjoy the sounds of live music while reveling in the beauty of Bridge Gardens as the sun sets. Bring a friend and your picnic for these music-filled evenings at the Garden.
