This Saturday, Sylvester Manor will welcome The James Hunter Six for their first Shelter Island performance.
Led by acclaimed British singer, songwriter, and guitarist James Hunter, the band brings its distinctive blend of soul, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll to the Manor for a summer evening by the creek.
The band comes to Shelter Island as part of its 2026 U.S. summer tour, following the release of its critically acclaimed album, Off the Fence. Their music is tightly played, deeply soulful, and made for dancing.

New York City’s high energy traditional blues duo New Moon Acoustic Blues will open the concert. New Moon has performed at Sylvester Manor before, and we are delighted to welcome them back.
