Michelle Cann’s rise to prominence in American classical music is undeniable and we are so proud of her! She recently is the recipient of the prestigious Sphinx Medal of Excellence; has made numerous appearances with top-level orchestras such as The Cleveland Orchestra and Philadelphia Orchestra; and just released two new recordings – one collaborative album with the Catalyst Quartet and one with the New York Youth Symphony, which happens to be their debut professional recording.

This Friday, April 15, Michelle appears on PBS’ Now Hear This with host Scott Yoo, discussing the legacy of Florence Price. Watch this preview where she explores Price’s piano sonata. Check your local PBS listings for the segment airing on live television.
