Guided Tour of Joseph Lloyd Manor

11:00 am to12:30 pm or 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

$5 members; $10 non-members (registration required).————Education Director, Andrew Tharler, will lead extended-access tours of Joseph Lloyd Manor (ca. 1767) for Black History Month. We invite you to join us in our ongoing work with the Jupiter Hammon Project as we continue to explore the site’s complicated history and the life of America’s first known published African American poet, Jupiter Hammon (1711-before 1806), one of the many people of African descent enslaved at the site.Tours offered last summer and fall sold out quickly. Space is limited, register today!

*Please note that this tour includes stairs. Only the first floor of the Manor is wheelchair accessible.

We are seeking a Collections Project Assistant to become a key contributor to an ongoing inventory project. Work directly with our collections to improve the intellectual control and physical well-being of approximately 2,500 items across four properties.

This is a part-time, grant-funded position.
