Dear Friends of Preservation Long Island,

May is Preservation Month, a designation created 20 years ago by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a time for local preservation organizations across the country to celebrate our shared heritage and highlight the value of historic preservation.

We’re thrilled to offer a lineup of programs that align with the National Trust’s official theme for 2025, “Harnessing the Power of Place”, which celebrates how preservation breathes new life into historic spaces and helps build more connected, vibrant neighborhoods.
