Preservation Long Island: Thank You + Happy New Year / Virtual Trivia Night Benefit, Jan 16, 2021
Thank You and Happy New Year!
We want to sincerely thank our community for staying connected with us during this challenging year, whether it was through watching our webinars or giving us a “like” on social media. As we say goodbye to 2020, we have highlighted here some of what we were able to accomplish over the past year with your support:
Launched the Jupiter Hammon Project, a major, long-term initiative focused on developing a more relevant and equitable interpretation of the life, literature, and world of Jupiter Hammon (1711–ca. 1806) and the other individuals enslaved at Joseph Lloyd Manor.
Completed essential maintenance projects at our historic properties.
Yes, this year is almost over! We look forward connecting with you again soon through our 2021 programming, and hope that you have a very happy New Year.
