On Sunday, October 2, 2022, join us for an opening celebration of the Queens Museum’s Fall 2022 exhibitions:– Xaviera Simmons: Crisis Makes a Book Club
– Charisse Pearlina Weston: of [a] tomorrow: lighter than air, stronger than whiskey, cheaper than dust.

The afternoon celebration will feature exhibition tours, live DJ, food and refreshments provided by local vendors, and drop-in family art making.


– 1:00pm-4:00pm: Drop-in Family Art Making Workshops

– 2:00pm – 5:00pm: Reception
Food and Sweets provided by Arepalicious and Moon Man. Music by DJ Undocubougie.

– 3:00pm and 4:00pm: Exhibition tours
