The Queens Museum is excited to offer an in-person Summer Camp experience! For three weeks in July, aspiring artists ages 7-11 are invited to join us for art-making workshops and games. Each week is inspired by a different theme: Color Splash, Nature Artists, and Art Adventurers. Campers can register for one or more weeks, with discounted registration rates for multiple weeks. 

¡En el Queens Museum estamos encantadxs de ofrecerles un campamento de verano presencial! Durante tres semanas de julio, invitamos a artistas aspirantes de entre 7-11 años a participar en nuestros talleres de arte y juegos temáticos. Cada semana está inspirada por un tema diferente: Salpicadura de color, Artistas naturales y Aventureros artísticos. Lxs participantes se pueden registrar para una o más semanas, con descuento en las tasas de registro si son varias semanas.

In this online conversation, Stephanie Dinkins, Surya Mattu, Jasmine E. McNealy, and Tawana Petty will be joined by Srimoyee Mitra to discuss how data justice efforts have worked to undo systemic bias and discrimination and work toward a more inclusive, transparent and just world. This program is co-presented with Stamps Gallery, University of Michigan in conjunction with Stephanie Dinkins: On Love and Data

En esta conversación online, Srimoyee Mitra reúne a Stephanie Dinkins, Surya Mattu, Jasmine E. McNealy y Tawana Petty para comentar la forma en la que los esfuerzos por conseguir justicia de datos han servido para desmontar los sesgos y la discriminación sistémicos, y avanzar para conseguir un mundo más inclusivo, transparente y justo. Organized by the leaders of La Jornada Cultural Food Pantry at Queens Museum, we invite you and your family to spend the day with us as we recognize the mothers and mother-figures in our lives and community. There will be art-making activities for all ages, opportunities for pampering, and a conversation with author and mentor Maria Trusa, who will discuss the importance of tending to your own health and wellbeing while maintaining strength as a community leader.

The newly launched Queens Teens Institute for Art and Social Justice (QTI) is now accepting applications! This program focuses on nurturing thoughtful young artists and the next generation of Queens-based leaders in the arts and social change. By providing structured learning and professional development opportunities through the Museum, peer-mentorship, and community partnerships, QTI seeks to provide a brave, empowering and structured environment for teens to express themselves and learn and grow.

Este programa se centra en enriquecer a jóvenes artistas con conciencia y a la próxima generación de líderes de Queens para afrontar los cambios sociales y artísticos. Para poder proporcionar un aprendizaje estructurado y oportunidades de desarrollo profesional a través del museo, mentorías entre compañerxs y asociaciones comunitarias, el objetivo de QTI es proporcionar un entorno bien estructurado y lleno de coraje y empoderamiento para que lxs adolescentes se expresen, aprendan y se desarrollen.
