Mandala Workshop
Saturday, October 2nd, 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Enjoy a creative afternoon while unwinding in the calming atmosphere of the wildlife refuge. Artist Julie O’Daly will guide you through the process of creating a unique mandala and bringing your personal awareness inward.  This workshop is $65 per person with a 15 person maximum. Bird Walk with Eastern Long Island Audubon Society
Sunday, October 3rd, 8:30 – 10:30 am
Join ELIAS for a guided bird walk at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.  The Refuge is an excellent stopping off point for south-bound songbirds, and there is a good chance to spot fall warblers and other migratory birds.  Binoculars are a necessity. Limited to 10 participants, pre-registration required.

Full Moon Night Hike
Tuesday, October 19th, 6:00 – 7:30 pm

Celebrate the full moon with a nighttime hike through the forest up to North Pond as we look and listen for nocturnal creatures, and enjoy some night vision activities under the light of the moon.  Reservations required at least 24 hours in advance.  A program for adults and families with children over 11.  $10.00/members, $20.00/non-members.

Enchanted Forest Trail
Saturday, October 23; Sunday, October 24; 

& Saturday, October 30, 12:00 – 2:00 pm

Follow your guide to meet whimsical, fun, and educational characters on the forest trails.  Come and join the fun!  Dress up if you like!  Activities and games will be available. For children ages 2 to 7 with adult.  $10 per person. Reservations required, call to reserve an arrival time: 631-653-4771

Celebrate Bat Week! 
Thursday, October 28th, Adult Lecture at 5:30 pm,

Kids Program at 4:00 pm

We LOVE bats!  These 45-minute presentations are all about bat anatomy, various lifestyles of bats from all over the world, including Long Island, their ecological importance to the planet, and ways to help local bats. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, and can take home a bat mask to make. $5.00 per person. Space is limited. Please note this is an indoor program and masks are required.
