There is something about gazing up at the starry sky that brings out a childlike sense of wonder in all of us. As we prepare for this year’s Wild Night for Wildlife Gala, themed “Celebrating Dark Skies,” we’d love to capture that by showcasing artwork created by the young people (ages 3-14) in our community!
We invite young artists ages 3-14 to create a drawing, painting, collage, or other artwork inspired by the night sky – whether it’s stars, constellations, planets, the moon, nocturnal wildlife or whatever feels inspiring!
Please email a photograph or scan of your child’s artwork to Development@QuogueWildlifeRefuge.org by June 22nd. Submitted artwork will be combined into a special collage that will be displayed at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and featured during the Benefit Gala on July 11!
We can’t wait to see the creativity and imagination inspired by the night sky, thank you for helping us celebrate and protect our dark skies for future generations!!
