Southampton Arts Center is thrilled to announce an inspiring array of workshops and wellness events for the upcoming months, offering something for every creative and wellness enthusiast. From figure drawing and watercolor painting to immersive wellness experiences, the Center continues to foster artistic expression and personal growth.

STUDIO: Figure Drawing Workshop

February 7, 2025 – March 28, 2025
Led by artist Linda Capello, this figure drawing workshop will explore fundamental techniques such as line, mass, gesture, proportion, and foreshortening while working from a live model. Participants will begin with short poses and gradually move to one long pose, receiving personalized instruction along the way.

Price: $20 Members | $25 Non-Members
Materials: Soft vine charcoal, conte, or graphite, kneaded erasers, and 14″x17″ or larger pads are recommended.

STUDIO: Paint + Sip with Deborah Acquino

Celebrate the spirit of Valentine’s Day with a creative evening of painting flowers on a 10×10 canvas. Whether a beginner or an experienced artist, all are welcome to enjoy a fun night out with friends while embracing the beauty of blooms.

WELLNESS: Waves of Feminine Energy – An Immersive Wellness Evening

February 13, 2025
Experience a full-sensory wellness journey focused on flow, connection, and transformation. The evening features dynamic movement sessions with new choreography and live music from RitmoFit XP, a Sound Bath, a Mindful Tea Ritual, Aromatherapy, and an Energetic Spa with Wondertech guided by holistic expert Monica Vargas.

KIDS + STUDIO: Adult + Child Painting Class

February 22, 2025 | 10 AM – 12 PM
Ages 7+ are invited to join this heartwarming workshop where each child and their accompanying adult will create complementary paintings on 8×10 canvases. This class fosters creativity and bonding in a fun, supportive environment.

Price: $30 Members | $35 Non-Members (includes both child and adult ticket)

STUDIO: Watercolor Class – 5-Week Course

April 1, 2025 – April 29, 2025
This intensive workshop focuses on the techniques and palettes of American Masters Winslow Homer and Andrew Wyeth. Weekly demonstrations will cover watercolor methods such as gradated washes, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and dry brush techniques.
