Inspired by the running waves, the flowing air, the quiet earth – Lora creates unique ceramics for the home designed to be both beautiful and useful. Made by hand in her studio on Shelter Island, Lora’s pieces are one of a kind, or created in a limited series. Her unique work which includes vases, large serving bowls and trays, as well as mugs and small bowls, shows off the hand of the maker in their textured surfaces and glaze application.

Lora says, “I am appreciative of everyone who stops by and enjoys my work. It makes me happy to have people building their collections and returning for more pieces each year – and I love it when people share photos with me pairing my vases with whimsical flowers from the market or my trays and platters with farm fresh vegetables, oysters or baked goods from Stars Cafe!”
