Slow Food East End

Join Us On Sunday, October 11th For

Our Very First Virtual Annual Meeting

Do you see yourself here?
The people in this picture attended our 2019 Annual Meeting where a great time was had by all!!
Slow Food Live
Even though we can’t hold an in-person Annual Meeting this year, we are working hard to match the fun of a live meeting while in a virtual setting.  This is our way of continuing to keep in touch and add value to our members while we are all staying close to home.  Here’s the latest on the event (more surprises to come!):
Date: Sunday, October 11th (6-7pm).
What You Can Look Forward To:
The purpose of our Annual Meeting is to update you on the overall state of Slow Food East End and to provide an opportunity to connect our Slow Food community and friends with each other in a casual, fun and interactive way.
Our specific agenda is to share what we have done in the last year, particularly how we have reshaped our mission and projects to add value in a very changed East End.  All of our Board members will participate and you will get to meet the new 2020 Board members.  We will also provide a peek into plans for the future.  We are really looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions to incorporate into our plans.
Fun Features:
We have been hard at work on a new video which will show the beauty of our East End home and tell the stories of some of the chefs, fishers, farmers and artisans who are the heart and soul of the Slow Food movement. There will be potluck recipes to make from our favorite Snail of Approval chefs and, undoubtedly, a special featured cocktail!
More information will be coming in the weeks ahead.  We hope to see you there !
Reserve Your Place
To participate you will need Zoom installed in your computer/smartphone.  Download the app from the link below.
September Membership Drive
Every September we work to get our current members to renew and attract new members to the cause of Slow Food: good, clean and fair food for all. As you may have heard, our chapter, Slow Food East End, is one of the largest in the country.
We have a very active and committed membership and through them we are proud of the ways we have been able to help our local communities. Won’t you help us do bigger and better things in the coming year? (Join here!)
See you soon!
