Our Mission Is Now

Earlier this spring, Slow Food East End Leaders held our annual strategic planning meeting, and we updated our mission:
—–
“We seek to create dramatic and lasting change in our food system; Slow Food East End connects communities on the East End with the people, traditions, plants, animals, fertile soils and waters that create our food. We inspire individuals and communities to change the East End of Long Island through food that is good, clean and fair for all.”
—–
It’s time to walk the walk.
Slow Food East End, due to our supporters,

—–
We are asking our members and supporters to match our effort of $15,000 for the food pantries. Give what you can.
—–
We work for our food system, because we believe in good, clean and fair food for all.

This Is What We Do

Every year at our annual meeting — free and open to all — our community comes together, with delicious local potluck, and renewed enthusiasm to make the world of food better for all.
