and Join Us For Our Next Virtual Event Featuring Taylor Knapp

September Membership Drive

Every September we work to get our current members to renew and attract new members to the cause of Slow Food: good, clean and fair food for all. As you may have heard, our chapter, Slow Food East End, is one of the largest in the country.
We have a very active and committed membership and through them we are proud of the ways we have been able to help our local communities. Won’t you help us do bigger and better things in the coming year? (Join here!)

Slow Food Live

We are bringing Slow Food into the comfort of your own home during this pandemic with the inaugural offering of Slow Food East End Live. This is our way of continuing to keep in touch and add value to our members when we are all staying close to home.  Join us for our next in the series:

September 16th (6-7pm)

Snails: The Real Slow Food with Snail Wrangler

Taylor Knapp of Peconic Escargot.

Snails are truly a Slow Food. Snail Wrangler, Taylor Knapp believes that snails are the future of food! Join us to hear about his journey that started in 2013 as a chef on the North Fork with a quest to find that perfect escargot that led to his becoming a snail farmer. We will also learn how to cook-up something snailicious!
