The Thomas Halsey Homestead was established in 1648 by one of the original English families to settle in Southampton. The Halsey House we see today was built circa 1683 and opened to the public as a historic house museum in 1960. Today it serves as a model of preservation in our rapidly changing village, and as an education facility for visitors and a growing number of classroom in the region.
We’ve spent over $250,000 in the past few years, replacing the roof, restoring 37 windows and renewing the historic gardens. The house is open for tours during the summer and fall seasons. Our aim is to make Halsey House accessible and welcoming to everyone year-round. Your contribution will help us achieve this goal.
Gala guests will enjoy sunset cocktails in a festive tent with scrumptious hors d’oeuvres by one of the Hamptons’ most beloved caterers, Robbins-Wolfe with libations generously donated by Herbert & Rist Liquors.
Join your friends and neighbors in Southampton by making a contribution.
