Conscience Point is known to be the original meeting place of the Shinnecock and English settlers of Southampton in June of 1640. Join us for a paddling tour led by Chenae Bullock of Moskehtu Consulting who will take you on a journey through history to cover oral Indigenous history, Indigenous plant identification, Indigenous lifeways, and Indigenous songs.
Participants can bring their own canoe or kayak or you can use one provided by East End Explorer. If bringing your own vessel, please also bring your own paddles and life vests and everyone please bring sunscreen, hats, etc. Participants planning to use a provided kayak will be assigned a seat in a tandem kayak and all accommodations will be made to keep parties together. Limited to 12 rented Kayaks.
Day of Schedule

- 8:30 to 9am – Paddlers will sign liability waivers and be outfitted with kayaks as needed and given safety instructions
