The Southampton Fire Department’s Antique Truck Committee is dusting off their finest historic fire trucks to be shown on the grounds of the Rogers Mansion on Saturday, September 4, 11 am to 4 pm. The City Service Ladder Truck made in 1912 will be a featured attraction. Historic fire-fighting equipment will be on display and include many of the twin forks historic fire trucks. Volunteer firefighters will answer questions and give demonstrations.

The 20 room Rogers Mansion, built during Southampton’s Gilded Age will also be open to the public along with 9 historic buildings on the campus including a barn with whaling artifacts, a carpenter’s shop and a decoy shed.

All are welcome to see this once-in-a-lifetime, outdoor display of Southampton’s legendary fire-fighting equipment.
