Celebrate “America’s Birthday Party” at Southold Historical Museum’s Maple Lane Campus during a lively Revolutionary War Encampment on Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Step into the Revolutionary era as reenactors from the Third New York Regiment transform the museum grounds into an authentic military encampment, complete with the equipment and supplies soldiers would have carried as they marched to join General George Washington’s army.
Enjoy a full day of family-friendly activities, including children’s games in the historic Bayview Schoolhouse and on the lawn, a Hamilton sing-along in the barn, living history demonstrations, food tastings, vendors, and light refreshments.
Join us for a festive presentation of America’s birthday cake as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, and experience the excitement of a live cannon firing demonstration.
Admission is free.
