Please join us in person at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 8 at the Maple Lane Campus for the exciting presentation: “The Tragedy of the Pelican”. Mia Certic, executive director of Montauk Historical Society, will tell the story of what happened on September 1, 1951 when the Pelican met a freak storm with 62 onboard only a mile off the Montauk Point Lighthouse.

The lecture is free to attend, but donations gladly accepted.
